Margaret serves as Counsel to The Hampstead Companies and works out of Maryland and is responsible for handling day-to-day legal functions as well as transactional matters involving multifamily affordable housing acquisition, ownership, development, financing and rehabilitation.  Previously, Margaret was General Counsel for a Maryland syndicator of real estate-based limited partnerships where she managed the sales of national affordable housing properties and handled all elements of portfolio disposition.  Prior to that, in private practice at large law firms in Washington, DC and Los Angeles, she represented entities and financial institutions in various real estate transactions and financial matters including the acquisition, development, and sale of commercial, industrial, and residential real estate.  Margaret is admitted to practice law in California and Washington, DC.
