The foundation may also focus donations to other community partners that provide specific education services to tenants such as computer literacy courses, English as a second language courses, homework assistance and academic tutoring, job-skill training, education in prenatal health, child development, and parenting skills, exercise and nutrition, immunization purposes, homeownership instruction or computer programming courses.

The foundation will make strategic donations of technology to low income communities. These donations of technology and equipment are to promote learning and advancement in order to keep up with the constantly evolving job and education environments in today’s society. Such donations may be made to teach various subjects including science, technology, engineering, mathematics, language, music, and graphic design. These items may be donated directly using foundation funding or through direct donations of equipment from strategic partners.

The scholarship program is the cornerstone of The Hampstead Foundation’s mission. The scholarship program is focused on youth who, without financial support, might otherwise be unable to obtain a college education. Our scholarship program provides economically disadvantaged, but high-potential youth with college or private school tuition. It is expected that many of the youth who receive scholarships will be the first in their families to attend a higher education institution and will help to break the cycle of poverty that exists in affordable housing communities.
